         "About a year into my wife publishing a couple neighborhood magazines, Liz designed and wrote the following page.  When I read it, and looked at the photo collage, I said to myself: 'Yeah, that's it.'  Awhile later when being interviewed about our campaign by The Courier newspaper, I said ours was a family that lived "...smack dab in the middle."  And wouldn't it be refreshing if there was this "average" small town Midwestern family in the White House.  It least I think it would be.  [Of course, we'd try to keep our youngest son Jonathan away from the White House kitchen as much as possible.  LOL, sort of.]"  --Joe
